During this workshop we cut out shapes in paper and folded the cut out sections in certain ways so that if we were to fold the cut out sections back, the paper could be whole again. From this, when light was directed at the cut out pieces of paper in a dark room, it created interesting shapes and shadows which changed and evolved as the paper was moved in different ways.
Doing this helped me to realise new, interesting ways of displaying work and adding more dimensions to a piece and I will try to consider this in the future as a way of adding something a bit different to my work.
